Join us in coordinating the Longest Walk 2 which will take place from February 11- July11, 2008 as we walk across the country from San Francisco to Washington DC in defense of Mother Earth and Protection of Sacred Sites!

Meeting at Glen Cove in Vallejo for a prayer vigil for Sacred Sites Shellmound Peace Walk
Indian People Organizing for Change along with Vallejo Intertribal/SSP&RIT invites all to join in a journey of walk and prayer to remember our ancestors who lived on this land for thousands of years. The walk will be led by traditional Native American leaders and Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhists. You are invited to a Sacred Sites/NAGPRA
(Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation
Act) coalition fundraising event and concert at SFSU.
This is a 2-day event November 14-15th. The concert
fundraiser will be on November 15th with three (3)
bands performing (One Struggle/Blackfire/FUGA). The
concert will begin at 5pm. There will also a be a
raffle. All proceeds will go to the Sacred Sites and
NAGPRA coalition who are fighting to protect sacred
sites and for the repatriation of ancestors to tribes.

Shellmound Walk to start at Hearst Museum
Meeting at the Hearst Museum at UCB for prayer and begin walk to Oakland.
Indigenous People’s Night of Resistance
Pauley Ballroom, Martin Luther King Student Union, UC Berkeley
Dedicated to brining indigenous resistance through the veins of UC Berkeley. An event to honor our united indigenous struggles from the Philippines to Chiapas. We’re making noise and letting people know we’re still here, still striving.
