HOUSTON: Screening of ‘800 Mile Wall’ in honor of International Human Rights Day

Attached is the invitation to the exclusive, pre-screening of The 800 Mile Wall at 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 10 International Human Rights Day at the Rice Media Center at University Blvd and Stockton, Entrance 8.

For a trailer, see www.800milewall.org.

The objective is to view the film and to celebrate our collective efforts to defend human rights and dignity and then to decide, if at a later date, we co-sponsor its screening for the general public here in Houston.

The producer of the film, Jack Lorenz, will fly in from LA to explore this possibility with us and to share experiences of its release in other parts of the country as well as the fight to end deadly border policies featured in the film.

Thanks again for all our combined work to protect human rights and dignity.
