Compañer@s,

It is with humble intentions, and in recognition of your hard work in our community, that I reach out to you and ask for your support in helping to welcome PUENTE Arizona as they travel through El Paso, Pecos, San Angelo, Odessa, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston Texas in their journey and caravan to Washington D.C. for

PUENTE Arizona is member of the National Day Laborer Organization, Detention Watch Network, and Reform Immigration For America, among other local, national, and international networks.

Please take the time to learn more about them and their
vision for justice and human rights for all peoples, regardless of color or national status. Below is a brief example of what they have accomplished and will continue to fight for, including taking their petition to the United Nations

As March 11th is but a few weeks away, I’d like to propose us to consider meeting sometime soon to discuss and plan out for this upcoming encuentro.

We want to make sure to welcome them as best as our community is able, and that in joining with them, we also take the time to celebrate our work, as well as their recent victory in

Please let me know if you would like to join in this effort. I volunteer to make an olla grande de pozole and hope that we call all pitch in something to make this a positive encuentro.

If you would like to contact PUENTE AZ directly, please contact Sylvia Herrera or Salvador Reza at (602) 575-8829.
