What: “Tent City” Protest & Rally!
Where: Willacy County Processing Center at 1800 Industrial Dr, Raymondville, TX

Thousands of immigrants are living in inhumane conditions just a few hours away from us. They are living in immigrant detention facilities where they lack adequate access to legal services, health care, and where many are subject to physical and sexual abuse.
The Willacy County Processing Center in Raymondville, TX, nicknamed “Tent City,” is the biggest detention center in the country and has one of the worst reputations for human and civil rights abuses.
On Saturday, April 10, we will be joining students and community leaders from across the state for a rally in Raymondville to speak out against the abuses and demand an end to these detention facilities. We’ll also be standing in solidarity with the Port Isabel Detention Center detainees who have been on a rolling hunger strike protesting the prolonged detention and conditions at that facility.
Join us as we protest these conditions and call for immigration policies that respect human dignity!
