YOU’RE INVITED TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE WORKSHOPS
FOR THE GALVESTON- HOUSTON COMMUTER RAIL ALTERNATIVES ANALYSIS
Throughout the course of the Galveston – Houston Alternatives Analysis study a myriad of public meetings have been held throughout the 50 mile corridor. In addition to those public meetings, we would like to involve the organizations that represent the interests of the populations of concern along the SH 3 corridor and IH 45 corridor that could be most impacted by mobility developments.
As such we are inviting your organization to participate in the workshops for the purpose of addressing the environmental assessment and discussing potential mitigation efforts that may be necessary for each alternative. All organizations that represent minority, low income, elderly, disabled, or at risk populations are encouraged to participate in one or more of these events. Representatives of Environment and Health Advocates are also encouraged to attend.
For more information about the study and the alternatives, please visit our website at www.galvestonrailstudy.com
If your organization would like to participate in one of the workshops, please send contact information and date(s) you’re interested in attending to Lynn Spencer at lspencer .
