Esperanza Center presents Paseo Por El Westside!

On Saturday, May 22, 2010 the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center and the Westside Historic Preservation Community Group invites the San Antonio community to a Paseo Por El Westside taking place at the Rinconcito De Esperanza at 816 S. Colorado, 78207. This FREE event will feature a day of cuentos with community historians/sabias, a plantita exchange, teatro, arte, and a historic walking tour of important places in the Westside neighborhood including the “Pink Building” at 1312 Guadalupe, which is in danger of being demolished. Rita Vidaurri and Las Tesoros del Westside, in addition to Eva Ybarra, will provide musical testament to the traditions of performance art in the Westside.

The Paseo Por El Westside takes place on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Rinconcito De Esperanza at 816 S. Colorado, 78207.
