SAN ANTO: Vote to Rename Durango St. to Cesar E. Chavez Blvd – May 19

SI SE PUEDE ! May 19, 2011, 9:00 a.m. the City Council of San Antonio, Texas will vote to Change Durango St. to Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard. The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce , the City Staff, and the Planning and Development Commission, Philip Cortez, City Council Dist.4, introduced the request and got the signatures for the St. Change. This will include 2 freeways. IH 35 and IH 37 and all the street of Durango east to west.
